My Favorites of 2015

I'm linking up with AndreaNarci and Erika and sharing,in no particular order, a list of some of my favorites from this past year.

2015 was by far the hardest year I've ever experienced. Losing one of my absolute most favorite people (my dad) in April was the hardest thing I've ever gone through.

At times I didn't think I'd make it because the pain was so intense. But thankfully, my #1 favorite (God...duh), helped me through and by His precious grace, I'm still going strong. So I still hurt? Oh yeah. But God has taught me, in His perfect wisdom and guidance, in those times to look at the good in my life...to look at all the ways God has helped me in life.

So, on to the good...

Spending time with my two favorite girls was (and always will be) a favorite past time...

Spending time with my extended family made for some favorite memories from 2015...

One of my favorite memories of my summer was my trip to one of my most favorite places ever...Senegal!

Later in the summer, I got to visit one of my most favorite cities (Mobile) in my favorite state (Alabama)...

I started my second year at my favorite elementary school in Alabama, teaching my most favorite students and working with a group of co-workers that quickly became favorites...

Over Thanksgiving Break, I got to visit a new state (Colorado) in my favorite country, and spend time with some of my favorite people...

I got to enjoy a lot of my favorite tasty treats...

Other random favorite moments from the year include...

Advancing in ministry and preparing to return to the mission field next year...

I gained a few new (to me) favorite quotes, Bible verses, etc...

I developed a love of visiting places in my favorite state (sweet home Alabama, of course)...

I took lots of pictures of my favorite baby who doesn't realize she's actually a dog...

I realized just how much flowers are my favorite...

Taking selfies was apparently a favorite because I did so quite often... :)

I even took lots of selfies with some of my most favorite people...

In looking back through my pictures, I realized that 2015 was the year for me to take lots of pictures of my favorite country's flag...

Views of sunrises and sunsets have always been my favorite. 2015 was no different...

And last, but most certainly not least is one of my most favorite people and all of the time I got to spend with her in 2015 (my mama)...
